About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent with a well-rounded background in commercial construction, including projects such as retail, multifamily, education, office, industrial, healthcare, or other complex commercial developments. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership of every phase of a project, and brings strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to the field. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work throughout the Peninsula (SF Bay Area), we are specifically seeking candidates who live in or near the Peninsula Bay Area to support our long-standing and growing presence in the region. In this role, you’ll lead and supervise all aspects of assigned projects from mobilization through punch list and demobilization, ensuring safety, quality, and clear communication every step of the way. With a strong presence in the Peninsula and projects throughout California, this role offers exposure to a diverse mix of project types, clients, and markets. Requirements

  • 6+ years of construction experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of all trades and the ability to read/interpret plans and specifications
  • OSHA 30‑hour certification (or equivalent)
  • CPR & First Aid certified
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project or a similar scheduling tool
  • Beginner to intermediate experience with Procore or comparable platforms
  • Strong understanding of digital documents, images, and related tools

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a foreman or journeyman preferred
  • Retail project experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day field operations from startup through closeout
  • Coordinate trades, inspections, and material deliveries
  • Drive the project schedule, including weekly lookaheads and meetings
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across all jobsite activities
  • Lead daily huddles, foremen meetings, and safety meetings
  • Resolve field issues, conflicts, and design challenges
  • Partner with the Project Manager on costs, change orders, and scope
  • Maintain all project documentation in Procore (reports, RFIs, photos, logs)
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, site cleanliness, and punch list completion.
