This is a role for someone who wants to run work-not just be part of it. What You'll Do As a Superintendent at Williams Company, you are the on-site leader and face of the company. You are responsible for driving field execution, coordinating trades, maintaining safety, and ensuring quality from mobilization through closeout. Project Leadership & Execution Lead all on-site construction activities from start to finish Develop and manage short-term schedules and 3-week lookaheads Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and field staff Maintain project momentum by identifying and resolving issues proactively Ensure alignment with project plans, specifications, and company standards Safety Leadership Lead by example in enforcing OSHA and company safety policies Conduct daily safety oversight, site walks, and coordination with trades Stop work when necessary and take immediate corrective action Foster a culture where safety is non-negotiable and owned by everyone Quality & Accountability Implement proactive quality control processes to prevent rework Lead pre-installation meetings and verify scope readiness Inspect work in place and ensure compliance with plans and specs Hold trade partners accountable to expectations and performance Client & Team Communication Serve as the primary field contact for clients, architects, and inspectors Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively-especially when challenges arise Build trust by delivering on commitments and maintaining transparency What We're Looking For We're looking for Superintendents who bring both technical expertise and leadership presence. You don't wait to be told what to do-you anticipate, act, and lead. Superintendent I Experience managing smaller to mid-sized commercial projects or portions of larger projects Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and trade coordination Ability to operate independently with support from Project Management Superintendent II Proven ability to lead moderate to high-complexity projects from start to finish Advanced scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities Demonstrated success managing multiple trades, tight logistics, and fast-paced schedules Core Expectations for All Candidates Strong knowledge of construction practices, sequencing, and safety standards Ability to lead teams, hold accountability, and maintain a positive jobsite culture Clear and professional communication with clients and internal teams High level of organization, urgency, and attention to detail Willingness to travel as needed based on project demands Why Williams Company We've been building for over 100 years-and we've built something rare: a company where people stay, grow, and share in the success they help create.
