About The Position

We’re seeking a Field Superintendent to join our team and ensure seamless execution of projects, from day-to-day operations to quality control and safety oversight. This role is perfect for a hands-on, organized, and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment. You’ll manage specific trades or scopes of work, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain top-tier safety and quality standards on the jobsite. On smaller projects, you may take full project oversight, assuming responsibilities aligned with a Project Superintendent role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
OSHA-30 certification required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with scheduling tools: pull-planning, Microsoft Project, and short-term look-ahead schedules.
Basic understanding of construction quality control (CQC) standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
Ability to respond constructively to feedback and maintain effective working relationships on-site.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs at times.
Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and stairs.
Full-time travel to job sites across the U.S., with the ability to be home every other weekend.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate construction activities, logistics, and field personnel.
Communicate with contractors and project team members regarding ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
Ensure subcontractors fully execute their contracted scope and comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Manage quality control efforts for materials and work in place.
Coordinate and track required inspections with local jurisdictions and special inspectors.
Proactively identify and resolve conflicts related to schedule, design, quality, and safety.
Maintain accurate daily logs and photo records of jobsite progress.
Develop look-ahead schedules (minimum 3-week) and distribute to relevant parties.
Conduct Daily Huddle and weekly Coordination meetings.
Travel to and from job sites as needed to support field operations.
Operating a motor vehicle on behalf of the company as an essential function of the role.
Perform other duties as assigned.
