About The Position

The Superintendent's primary role is to deliver quality, new construction homes for the Company. This involves ensuring projects are completed on time according to established schedules, adhering to budgets, and maintaining a superior level of customer satisfaction. Depending on the assignment, this position may have full responsibility for a community or work collaboratively with a Project Manager in a dual management capacity.

  • Ability to read and fully comprehend construction blueprints specifications and development plans
  • 1-3 years experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Must have valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Residential Construction Management AA or BS degree preferred
  • Prior experience in supervising or assisting new home construction projects preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides Project Manager with construction site assistance where assigned
  • Maintain job site and model home safety and cleanliness
  • Ensure home construction complies with building codes, phase specifications, and homeowner options
  • Attend and participate in training classes designed to develop and foster career advancement
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings
  • Participates in pre-settlement walk thorough meetings with customers
  • Participates in weekly community meetings
  • Maintains construction schedules
  • Schedules all “punch work” on homes
