About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in construction management to oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This position requires strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols and project requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field or experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., RedTeam, Procore, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Strong understanding with construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Proven experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Strong track record of maintaining compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA30 certification and other relevant safety training is preferred.
  • PMP, CCM or CSM is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the 3-Week Schedule and the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) prior to project commencement.
  • Manage the setup of core site logistics, including site offices, temporary fencing, and storage.
  • Install all mandatory OSHA, Labor & Leave law signage, Kroll-specific signage and safety gear.
  • Video or photograph existing site conditions for the Project Manager prior to commencement of work.
  • Prepare a detailed Daily Progress Report in RedTeam.
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with onsite subcontractors to align the 3-week schedule, RFIs, and site staging.
  • Communicate and share schedule constraints early with the project team.
  • Maintain the As-Built set by physically stapling all RFI answers, field revisions, and sketches to the drawings.
  • Fill out a Daily Hazards Checklist every morning and meet with vendors to communicate risks.
  • When an unsafe condition is identified, issue formal safety warnings or violations as needed.
  • Lead subcontractor pre-con meetings to ensure all workers sign off on the JHA and site safety plans.
  • Investigate accidents within one business day and document using the official Accident Investigation Form.
  • Compile and send a Completion List to subcontractors as they approach substantial completion.
  • Lead the punch list walkthrough, taking detailed notes and photos to push subcontractors to final sign-off.
  • Deliver a clean physical final turnover to the client.
