About The Position

Choate Construction is seeking a Superintendent with 3+ years of leadership experience delivering complex, full‑cycle projects. The ideal candidate will own the build from day one to final close‑out. Superintendents at Choate are expected to be nimble, relationship‑driven leaders and professional solution‑finders. They act as trusted partners who confidently build across multiple project types while leading the company's safety culture, as protecting employees is a top priority.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience delivering complex, full‑cycle projects.
  • Experience leading and managing projects from day one through project completion.
  • Demonstrated success in the creation and execution of project planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to thoroughly review, interpret, and clearly communicate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Experience leading project teams through strong relationships, serving as the primary field leader who builds trust with owners, trade partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to effectively leverage construction management platforms such as Procore.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Safety as an onsite leader on a consistent basis.
  • Lead and manage projects from day one through project completion.
  • Create and execute project planning and scheduling.
  • Thoroughly review, interpret, and clearly communicate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work, to ensure accurate execution, alignment across teams, and successful project delivery.
  • Lead project teams through strong relationships, serving as the primary field leader who builds trust with owners, trade partners, and internal teams to drive collaboration, accountability, and successful outcomes.
  • Effectively leverage construction management platforms such as Procore to streamline jobsite communication, coordinate daily activities, manage documentation, and support efficient project execution.
