Requirements

Extensive industrial construction experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
Strong background in turnaround and shutdown execution with a focus on mechanical scopes
Proven leadership experience supervising mechanical trades, including pipefitters, welders, boilermakers, and millwrights
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems such as piping, vessels, and rotating equipment
Solid understanding of rigging practices and lift planning fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to lead crews in fast-paced, high-pressure industrial or turnaround settings
Strong proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and mechanical work packages
Effective leader with strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety excellence and HSE program leadership

Responsibilities

Lead field execution of mechanical scopes during turnarounds, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery
Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplinary crews (pipefitters, welders, boilermakers, millwrights)
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, vessels, rotating equipment, and mechanical components
Plan and execute rigging and lifting activities in compliance with safety standards
Drive daily planning, crew assignments, and workface coordination across disciplines
Monitor progress, productivity, and performance, proactively addressing schedule or cost impacts
Champion HSE compliance by leading safety meetings, toolbox talks, and field observations
Coordinate resources and ensure quality control while communicating effectively with stakeholders and supporting reporting and planning activities
