About The Position

The role involves driving safe, reliable, and cost-effective processing operations by optimizing plant performance, improving recovery and throughput, and building a high-performing team to meet production targets.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in processing or mining operations
Strong understanding of mineral processing, especially flotation
Ability to analyze data, solve problems and drive continuous improvement
Experience leading safety initiatives and incident investigations
Effective communication, team development and stakeholder management skills
Budget awareness and operational discipline

Responsibilities

Lead visible safety practices and ensure compliance with all HSE standards
Oversee crushers, mills, conveyors and flotation systems to maximize performance
Coach and develop supervisors, building capability and accountability
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Improve KPIs through continuous improvement and daily performance review
Partner with maintenance and support teams to align production and budgets
Manage costs, track variances and identify efficiency opportunities
