As Superintendent - Plumbing, you'll oversee plumbing system installations and rough-ins on commercial projects, leading crews to deliver code-compliant, reliable fixtures, piping, and drainage systems that support efficient building operations. Coordinate with trades, manage site logistics, and ensure quality/safety throughout. Requirements

  • 7+ years in commercial plumbing installation, including 3+ years supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or GED; plumbing license/certification preferred.
  • Field-based; lift/carry 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, extended standing/bending.
  • Construction sites; exposure to wet conditions, heights, noise; OSHA/PPE compliance essential—safety is top priority.
  • Plumbing system installation, fixture rough-in, testing/codes compliance.
  • Crew leadership, coordination with trades, safety enforcement.
  • Blueprint interpretation, problem-solving, documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, drains, and medical gas (if applicable) per plans and codes.
  • Manage crew assignments, material deliveries, and daily progress to meet schedule milestones.
  • Enforce safety standards, perform job hazard analyses, and lead toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate with other trades (HVAC, electrical) for sequencing and conflict avoidance.
  • Conduct inspections, testing (pressure/hydrostatic), and punch list resolution.
  • Troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with plumbing codes, and document work.
  • Mentor plumbers and apprentices on techniques, safety, and best practices.
