Additionally, the position requires data collection for reporting, coordinating maintenance techniques to reduce costs, ensuring adequate supplies and parts, arranging for equipment maintenance and upgrades, and training employees on maintenance programs. The role also involves computer use, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), communication with environmental management regarding activities and emergencies, implementing contingency plans, and maintaining environmental documentation. Compliance with safety practices, waste minimization, and environmental regulations for handling materials and wastes is essential.
