About The Position

The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all field activities from project startup through final closeout. Working closely with the Project Manager, this individual will coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and champion a safe and organized jobsite. This position requires a hands-on construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring field teams while delivering exceptional projects for clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects
  • Experience supervising multifamily, senior housing, or residential commercial construction projects is required
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and a demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience using Procore Project Management Software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, or similar PDF software
  • Comfortable using iPads and mobile construction management applications in the field
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and municipal officials
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including climbing ladders, lifting up to 90 pounds, working outdoors, and navigating active construction sites

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day field operations for multifamily and senior living construction projects
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to maintain project schedule and quality standards
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project execution
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the jobsite
  • Utilize Procore to manage daily logs, inspections, drawings, specifications, photos, punch lists, and project documentation
  • Conduct weekly jobsite coordination meetings using Lean Construction principles and weekly work plans
  • Monitor project quality through inspections and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes
  • Coordinate municipal inspections, permitting activities, and project approvals
  • Review subcontractor scopes of work and assist with evaluating change order requests
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional jobsite
  • Lead project closeout activities, including punch list completion and final turnover
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards
