About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated College Superintendent Intern/Coop, who is passionate about the construction process to join our team. At ARCO, an Intern/Co-op has the opportunity to assist Superintendents with the following:
Work on the jobsite and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in various working stages, working directly in the Mission Critical industry
Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the job.
You will make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Ability to work onsite in the fall, spring or summer.
• Local to Indiana
• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related degree programs.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents with jobsite work and gain hands-on experience from expert field personnel on projects in various working stages, specifically within the Mission Critical industry.
• Learn skills from the Superintendent, including schedule creation, subcontractor communication, project management from start to finish, and collaboration with the Superintendent.
• Make meaningful contributions to ARCO’s success by performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.
