We hope you're one of them. Vivmark Residential is seeking a Superintendent I to join our construction team and help deliver high-quality multifamily and mixed-use communities. This role is ideal for an emerging construction professional who is ready to take ownership of project scopes, develop field leadership skills, and gain hands-on experience managing complex residential construction projects. Working alongside experienced construction leaders, you'll play a key role in maintaining project schedules, supporting quality and safety initiatives, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered to Vivmark's standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent field experience
  • Experience supporting multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, or residential construction projects
  • Understanding of construction scheduling, quality control, jobsite safety, and subcontractor coordination
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and project teams
  • A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and desire to grow into increasing levels of field leadership

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned scopes of work on multifamily and mixed-use construction projects
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Partner with Superintendents and Project Managers to review project schedules and identify updates and adjustments
  • Support jobsite safety efforts and promote a culture of safe work practices
  • Ensure construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications
  • Coordinate RFIs, inspections, project documentation, and daily jobsite activities
  • Identify field issues, evaluate root causes, and help implement practical solutions that reduce project risk
  • Participate in daily and weekly project meetings while collaborating with project stakeholders, trade partners, and inspectors
