About The Position

This is a hands-on field leadership role for a high-performing Superintendent who thrives on driving execution, building strong subcontractor relationships, and delivering complex infrastructure projects. You will lead day-to-day construction operations on water and wastewater treatment facility projects (and occasionally commercial projects), ensuring work is planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience in water infrastructure or similar heavy construction environments.
  • Proven ability to lead field operations, subcontractors, and daily execution on complex projects.
  • Strong leadership style rooted in collaboration, accountability, and proactive communication.
  • Experience with water/wastewater systems including process piping, pumps, clarifiers, chemical feed systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP systems.
  • Experience with plant startup, commissioning, and regulatory compliance.
  • Skilled in pull planning, 4-week/6-week look-ahead scheduling, and real-time plan adjustments.
  • Strong understanding of site logistics, safety standards, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day construction operations on water and wastewater treatment facility projects (and occasionally commercial projects).
  • Ensure work is planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Build strong subcontractor relationships.
  • Plan work effectively, manage milestones, and maintain project flow.
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, shop drawings, and coordination plans.
  • Lead daily huddles, coordinate trades, and ensure subcontractor readiness.
  • Track production, manage field documentation, and drive quality control.
