About The Position

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent, Foundations to support field operations. This role is crucial for getting projects off to strong starts by designing and constructing foundations and industrial facilities. The work, while not always a focal point, is essential and improves lives. The Superintendent, Foundations will coordinate schedules and resources, communicate scope to Foremen, and ensure safety processes are completed. This position also involves attending client meetings, managing materials and tooling, verifying documentation, reviewing reports, and collaborating with the Project Manager. Additionally, the role contributes to the development of Foremen and trade staff, ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent project execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training in construction industry.
• Experience with structural concrete construction and subcontract management.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.
• Ability to travel and commit to long term onsite projects.

• Knowledge of forming systems, mix designs and admixtures desired.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations by coordinating schedules and resources.

• Review time and field reports.
