About The Position

We are looking for a Superintendent Engineer to join our Engine Support team in Brookshire (Houston), Texas. This role involves working with a market-leading company developing cutting-edge two-stroke engines for ship propulsion. The position requires assisting crews and shipowners worldwide, bringing back insights from the field to influence future engine technology, and working with groundbreaking solutions that reduce emissions and enable the use of environmentally friendly fuels. You will also be involved with Tier III technologies and R&D field tests.

Requirements

Hold a degree in Engineering or Marine Engineering (Bachelor level or higher).
Interest and knowledge of two-stroke engines.
Flexibility for extensive travel.
Strong English skills both spoken and written.
A positive mindset and ability to work independently while being a team player.
Basic understanding of both mechanics and electronics -comfortable with oily hands and technical drawings alike.

Nice To Haves

Experience is an advantage, but we also welcome less experienced candidates.
Seagoing experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Spend a significant amount of time traveling, mainly in the U.S., however international traveling might occur.
Work independently on ships and make critical decisions on the spot.
Assist Engine builders, customers and crews on vessels worldwide.
Collaborate closely with our Design and R&D teams.
Play a key role in introducing Everllence dual fuel technologies and other new developments.
Contribute to our strategy for decarbonizing marine transportation.
