Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED AND seven (7) years related operational experience, including supervisory or management experience OR Bachelor’s degree AND three (3) years related operational experience, including supervisory or management experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of fixed plant maintenance including processes, workflow and equipment but not limited to the associated processes, work flow and equipment
  • Proficiency in VFD troubleshooting, electrical schematic interpretation, maintenance planning and execution
  • Working knowledge and understanding of all electrical and instrument related equipment in a modern concentrator
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word and Excel
  • Skill in supervising, evaluating, training and motivating employees
  • Skill in effective communication both verbal and written
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, direct and manage a diverse number of operational areas, projects and activities
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Skill in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
  • Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
  • Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, manage and evaluate assigned tasks, including but not limited to reliability, safety, company standards, work quality, best practices and environmental management.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all electrical equipment related to the Concentrator and Crushing Plant, including potential visits to OEM shops and mine sites.
  • Establish tactical and strategic goals, objectives, policies and procedures for electrical equipment related to crushers, mills, screens and pumps.
  • Understand electrical schematics, basic electrical drive theory and troubleshooting processes, and develop and implement electrical processes and procedures with consistency.
  • Support site strategic initiatives and participate as required.
  • Provide technical electrical maintenance support for critical production issues.
  • Serve as a technical expert on electrical standards and company best practices.
  • Manage electrical planning and execution.
  • Provide technical assistance and recommendations to Plant staff.
  • Implement reliability best practices during major fixed plant equipment rebuilds.
  • Identify, evaluate and implement new processes and continual improvement ideas.
  • Standardize electrical maintenance equipment and procedures for crushers, mills, screens and pump replacements and rebuilds.
  • Oversee and manage the budget as related to the electrical department.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Benefits

  • The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $120,000 - $167,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
