About The Position

Northern Mat & Bridge is seeking an experienced Class 1 Super B Driver for steady, reliable work across Western Canada. The role involves safely hauling matting and bridge materials to customer sites, working alongside a strong operations team. A sign-on bonus program is available for experienced drivers.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence with a clean driver’s abstract
• Comfortable working in field environments and changing site conditions
• Willingness to travel across AB, BC, SK, and MB

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of Super B driving experience
• Strong understanding of load securement and highway safety practices
• Experience hauling matting, construction materials, or bulk loads
• Experience in oilfield, construction, or remote work environments
• Familiarity with NMB products or operations
• Winch truck or additional trailer configuration experience

Responsibilities

• Operating Super B trailer configurations to transport matting and related materials
• Supporting occasional hauling using tandem or lowbed trailers as needed
• Safely loading, securing, and transporting matting loads
• Completing pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant
• Managing documentation accurately (e-logs, BOLs, time tickets)
• Working closely with dispatch, operators, and site teams during loading and unloading
• Participating in toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Keeping trucks and trailers clean, maintained, and road-ready
• Contributing to a safe, organized, and professional worksite
