About The Position

Fuyao Glass America is seeking current or newly enrolled college students for immediate consideration in our summer program for manufacturing Production Associates. This is an 8-week program with the option to extend to 12 weeks. The ideal candidate should be a quality and team-driven individual who is eager to learn entry-level manufacturing. The role involves assembling automotive glass to form complete units at a conveyor line, potentially using hand tools, power tools, or assembly tools. Responsibilities may also include operating computer systems, mobile devices, and monitoring data communication networks on production lines. This is a summer-only employment opportunity with the potential for a bonus.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in School.
Must be a current college student or newly enrolled to qualify.
Must fulfill the summer program commitment.
Must be willing to undergo a background check.
Must be willing to undergo a physical abilities assessment.
Must pass background and Physical assessment.
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand the duration of assigned shift.
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Assembling automotive glass to form complete units at a conveyor line.
Operating simple hand tools and/or activated power or special assembly tools.
Operating computer systems, mobile devices, and other networking equipment.
