Summer Teller Intern Purpose/Duties Assist Achieva in its mission to ‘change lives for GOOD’! Team members maintain a working knowledge of all products, services, organizational policies, and procedures. Responsible for dominating in service while cross-selling credit union solutions. Must be able travel to and provide support to surrounding market branches, as needed. Key Result Areas Provides prompt, friendly and accurate service to internal and external members. Delivers service that focuses on individual member needs. Conducts basic teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments accurately and in compliance with established policies, procedures and state and federal regulations such as the BSA, and Privacy Act. Assist members with account inquiries and general banking questions. Balancing each day’s transactions including verifying cash totals. Promote products and services by identifying member needs and referring to appropriate staff. Maintain confidentiality of member and financial information. Support branch staff with administrative and operational tasks as needed. Learn and follow all policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines while upholding all credit union ethical standards. Professional and efficient communications with all departments and branches in order to promote synergy. Represents the credit union in a courteous and professional manner. Perform other essential job functions as required or assigned. Learning Objectives Develop customer service and communication skills in a professional setting. Gain knowledge of banking operations and financial products. Learn cash handling, balancing, and risk management practices. Understand the importance of compliance, security, and member service excellence.
