About The Position

Hennick Humber Hospital is North America’s first fully digital hospital, dedicated to transforming healthcare through technology and clinical expertise. Serving the North West Toronto community, we prioritize Equity, Inclusivity, and active participation in the North West Toronto Ontario Health Team. Our approach uses a custom combination of technology and clinical expertise to improve patient care, reduce inefficiencies, and minimize errors. We are formally affiliated with the University of Toronto and Queen’s University, aiming to become a community academic hospital. Our Research Strategy is framed by Clinical Excellence, Optimizing Care through Technology, and Community Connection. We are currently seeking a Summer Student to provide general support to our Mental Health & Addiction Program.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required.
  • Intermediate/proficient computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to multitask competing priorities
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support duties and provide backfill support to the Program Assistants
  • Provide meeting / minute / calendar support during periods of vacancy or vacation backfill
  • Front desk assignment and support
  • Administrative tasks associated with the leadership team
  • Reporting any problems or concerns to the Program Directors
  • Special project related responsibilities as requested
