About The Position

Come gain valuable experience this summer by joining NORPACs Summer Internship Program! Students are invited to fill in critical roles within the organization to ensure smooth operations of the mill over the summer. Students will have a chance to learn skills in manufacturing, operations, maintenance, and administrative support. As such, NORPAC requires students to be safety-focused, team players, quick learners, motivated, able to complete hands-on production work, and able to perform duties in a manufacturing setting. Applications must be submitted two weeks prior to the internship to be considered for the role.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be enrolled in a college for fall 2026 full-time (at least 12 credits per term/semester on average).
Be earning satisfactory grades (minimum 5 cumulative GPA) in courses.
Be eligible for rehire if previously employed in the program.
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, pre-employment background check and post-employment physical before the first day of work.
Be available to attend a Summer Student Orientation, (if new to the program).
Be available to work all of their summer period for one of the following terms: May 26th - August 21st, 2026, or June 22nd - September 18th, 2026.
Be available for a minimum of 75 days.
