About The Position

Catapult Learning is seeking a part-time Summer School Teacher for Epiphany Catholic School in Culpeper, VA. The program runs from June 30th to July 23rd, with hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Catapult Learning provides educational solutions focused on academic achievement and better life outcomes for students. This role involves being an advocate, difference maker, and mentor to students, delivering designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills. The teacher will develop lesson plans, ensure student supervision, maintain student records, attend meetings and trainings, and manage educational materials.

Requirements

Bachelors degree
Virginia Teaching License
Teaching/tutoring experience
Proficient in MS Office, OneDrive, Zoom, etc
All programs are in-school settings

Responsibilities

Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom.
Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
Other duties may be assigned.
