Summer School Classroom Aide

As a 1:1 Aide, you’ll work closely with one student, providing personalized guidance and encouragement throughout the school day. Requirements

• High school diploma; 2 years or 30 hours of college experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals.
• Knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Support STEM teachers during daily instruction and hands-on learning activities.
• Prepare and reset STEM stations between class rotations to ensure materials are organized and ready for the next group.
• Monitor students during activities to promote the safe and appropriate use of STEM tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist with classroom management and provide individual or small-group support to students as directed by the teacher.
• Organize, clean, and inventory STEM materials at the end of each program day.
• Set up classrooms and STEM stations in preparation for the following day's activities.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment throughout the program.
• Perform other program-related duties as assigned by the Site Coordinator or STEM Teacher.
