Summer Resource Teacher
About The Position
The Goddard School® of Chester Springs is looking for a caring and dependable Resource Teacher to join their team this summer. This is a summer position, with the option to return for winter and spring breaks. It’s a great opportunity for high school and college students who want hands-on experience working with children and a job that actually feels meaningful. At this school, teachers are supported so they can do their best work with students. As a Resource Teacher, you’ll move between classrooms, help with activities, and step in where needed to keep the day running smoothly. No nights or weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or current student
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and flexible
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
Responsibilities
- Help teachers with lessons and classroom activities
- Step into different classrooms as needed
- Set up and organize materials
- Supervise children inside and outside
- Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Share updates with families when needed
- Keep classrooms clean and safe
- Help with daily routines
