About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our direct care team this summer at Lindencroft Group Home. Lindencroft is a group home treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. We offer multiple options for schedules and weekend availability to best fit your needs. No work experience or college degree needed! Come ready to learn and we will provide all the resources necessary for you to excel! There is exciting growth potential, and following the summer, there could be an opportunity to become a permanent member of our team.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Be able to establish clear professional boundaries.
  • Work as a team member.
  • Consistently implement all policies and procedures, rules and regulations of JRI.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma informed care to adolescents in a group home setting.
  • Develop skills in providing enriching daily activities for students such as arts and crafts, and recreational activities including offsite field trips.
  • Create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting clients in developing effective coping strategies.
  • Work as an integral part of an active and engaged team.
