About The Position

Working as a member of the Office for Parish Renewal, the Summer Renewal Intern is assigned to one Co-Implementation parish, assisting in the summer programming and renewal efforts in that parish. The intern acts as a temporary member of the Co-Implementation team at that parish. The Summer Renewal Intern also assists the Senior Manager for Renewal Resources in the area of content/resource organization, development, and alignment, taking on a portfolio of summer projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Currently enrolled in graduate studies in the areas of theology, ministry, or similar
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Comfort with innovation / creation

Nice To Haves

Spanish language competency

Responsibilities

Invests approximately 15 hours per week in one Co-Implementation parish
Works as a member of the archdiocesan team in the parish
Assists with events, experiences, and ministry as needed
Attends meetings and engages in the decision making and implementing life of the parish
Invests approximately 15 hours per week in a portfolio of summer renewal resource projects
Organizes office resources/content for more effective use and engagement
Aligns with SMRR resources/content across office teams
Collaborates in the development of content for future renewal workshops
Other duties as a assigned by supervisor
