About The Position

We are seeking energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer Recreation Camp Counselors. Counselors play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for campers while leading activities, building relationships, and serving as positive role models.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must have your own form of transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Dependable and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with children preferred (camp, coaching, babysitting, etc.)
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
• Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, games, and group events
• Encourage participation and foster a supportive, inclusive camp environment
• Assist with daily camp operations, including setup, and cleanup of activities
• Address camper behavior appropriately and communicate any concerns to camp leadership
• Provide basic first aid when necessary and follow all safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with other counselors and staff
