About The Position

The Summer Program and Outreach Assistant (POA) will primarily work on program development and outreach to the Chatham University student population. The POA will help create civic engagement programs and build relationships between student organizations and the PCWP to help support civic engagement efforts across the university. As a part of outreach, the POA may be asked to create posts using Canva to be used in our social media campaigns. The POA will also be tasked with managing our voter registration efforts on campus, manage table tent distribution across campus, as well as some general office duties. The POA will be expected to help execute our educational programs (i.e. work the program). Given that this is a summer position, the focus will be on creating fall programming for students, with an emphasis on Women's Equality Day, Constitution Day, and National Voter Registration Day. Students in the POA position will work with PCWP staff to bring these educational programs to the campus.

Requirements

Must be a current student employee at Chatham University
Must not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year
Must not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year
