Requirements

Food service, cook, retail, restaurant, chef, fast food, grocery, or customer service experience (for Deli roles).
Passion for guest service (for Deli roles).
Thrive in a fast-paced environment (for Deli roles).
Interested in a position where you can be busy at all times and in direct contact with guests (for Grocery and Frozen Food & Dairy roles).
Loves to interact with people (for Guest Services roles).
Provide exceptional customer service in a retail environment (for Guest Services roles).
Likes to cook and be hands-on with food (for Deli roles).
Creative and loves to bake (for Bakery roles).
Interested in learning more about the intriguing world of the meat department (for Meat roles).

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Involved with many aspects of cooking and guest service in the Deli department.
Creating and making many of the items sold in the deli.
Creating fully stocked aisles for guests in the Grocery department.
Constantly keeping busy by checking expiration dates and empty shelves in the Grocery department.
Being busy at all times and in direct contact with guests in the Grocery department.
Being the last contact with the guest before they leave the store in Guest Services.
Leaving guests with a great last impression of Hometown Grocers and keeping them coming back.
Using creativity and passion for baking with made-from-scratch items in the Bakery department.
Creating different flavors, shapes and colors of all different types of bakery items.
Helping Hometown Grocers continue in committing to our mission statement and serve our guests quality products.
Working hands-on with a fresh variety of meat products in the Meat department.
Preparing quality products and providing guest service in the Meat department.
Creating fully stocked aisles for guests in the Frozen Food & Dairy department.
Constantly keeping busy by checking expiration dates and empty shelves in the Frozen Food & Dairy department.
Being busy at all times and in direct contact with guests in the Frozen Food & Dairy department.
