A wonderful family in Carlsbad is seeking a temporary Summer Nanny to provide engaging childcare for two young children during the summer months. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and genuinely enjoys spending time with 5 and 6-aged children. This position focuses entirely on childcare and creating fun, enriching experiences. Household responsibilities are minimal, allowing the nanny to devote their attention to the children's daily activities and well-being. A background in early childhood education, camps, teaching, or recreational programming would be a wonderful fit.
Requirements
- Previous experience caring for young children.
- Experience as a nanny, camp counselor, teacher, childcare provider, or similar role preferred.
- Warm, patient, and energetic personality.
- Creative and enthusiastic about planning activities.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Advanced third-party background check required (paid by the client).
- Comfortable following the family's dietary preferences and allergy precautions.
Nice To Haves
- French language skills are a wonderful bonus but are not required.
