Summer Lifeguard- Bethesda Pool
About The Position
Horizons Savannah is seeking Lifeguards for the summer program at an outdoor pool to lifeguard during structured swim lessons. As a certified summer lifeguard, your primary responsibility is to maintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing all rules and regulations of the pool and surrounding area. In addition to rule enforcement, a certified pool lifeguard may be responsible for chemical maintenance and record-keeping and first aid. A lifeguard is also responsible for inspecting the facility on a daily basis and reporting any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to the Swim Coordinator. Training and certification provided if not currently certified. Must be at least 16 years of age by May 1st.
Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age.
- Lifeguard Certification- or ability to become certified before May 1st.
- Background check.
- Availability throughout the summer program dates.
Responsibilities
