2027 Summer Internships (Science and Engineering)
About The Position
First Quality is a family-owned company founded over 35 years ago, with a global presence and a commitment to its values of humility, unity, and integrity. We are seeking talented, team-oriented college students for our Summer 2027 Internship Program at our First Quality Baby Products site in Macon, GA. This program offers Science and Engineering Internships in areas such as Controls, Maintenance and Reliability, Process, Product Development, Quality, and Safety. The internships are full-time, paid positions focused on providing concrete experience through real projects with tangible results. Interns will also have opportunities to network with First Quality team members and other interns, and will present their achievements to leadership at the end of the summer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or demonstrated progress toward a degree) in an engineering-related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- 0-3 years of experience, including academic projects
- Highly motivated, strong team player, with good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Open to relocate to Macon, GA area for the summer
Responsibilities
- Work on real life projects in a manufacturing environment
- Learn about processes and equipment
- Encourage safety culture through training and participation
- Support manufacturing operations by improving processes
- Partner and build relationship with other interns
