About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, & hardworking student to join Team Lexus of Stevens Creek for the Summer of 2026. At LSC, you will gain priceless real-world experience by working on projects while providing the most exceptional and memorable guest service to the thousands of guests that we serve annually. This internship will allow you to put everything you've learned into action and give you an opportunity to grow in ways you can only imagine. You will work alongside a number of dynamic individuals responsible for our success every single day. This is your opportunity to learn from them! The Internship has a Pay Scale based on the year in school. You must be a college student or high school graduate starting college in the fall. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of College/University Completed: 1st year: $19.00 2nd year: $20.00 3rd year: $21.00 This is a Full-Time, 30 day, paid internship program beginning July 6, 2026 and ending August 7, 2026. In addition to providing a summer job opportunity, our goal is to foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities among our interns. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate college student or a recent high school graduate starting their first year of college.
  • An applied student with a GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written format.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Possess the ability to coordinate activities with other team members; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language and work well with the public.
  • Available to complete all 4 weeks of program with minimal pre-determined absences.

Responsibilities

  • Interns will shadow, observe, and receive hands-on experience rotating between the following departments: Service, Sales, Parts, Finance
  • Must adhere to assigned schedule designated by each department to include occasional weekends.
  • Adhere to all assigned tasks while in each designated department.
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures.
  • Engage with guests leading with our Penske Way Principles
  • Rotate through our divisions of responsibility and actively engage with team members as needed.
  • Accepts designated, business-focus project to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
  • Week 1: Introduction to the dealership: Customer service, service menu, contracts, Sales: Sales & Fixed Ops overview - Front of the house, Fixed ops overview, sales overview
  • Week 2: Introduction to Finance/Administration, Introduction to Parts - Warehouse management, parts catalog, online orders, internal customer service, basic AR accounting
  • Week 3: Introduction to ASM role, Introduction to the shop - Repair procedures, warranty repairs, production management, reconditioning center
  • Week 4: Side Drive, One day in the department of their interest
  • Week 5: Work on Presentations, Final Presentation on Friday, August 7, 2025
