About The Position
The 2027 BNY Summer Internship Program offers a 10-week immersive experience for high-potential students at a leading global financial services institution. Interns will gain insight into the capabilities, platforms, and functions that power BNY's global franchise while contributing to impactful business initiatives. The program focuses on a skills-driven talent model and provides exposure to BNY's collaborative and innovative culture. Interns will engage in enterprise-wide onboarding, development programming, meaningful project work, structured mentorship, and professional training. This program is designed to accelerate development, build professional networks, and prepare participants for long-term career success within BNY.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
- Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications and technology platforms in a complex enterprise environment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute work, resolve issues, and support both short-term fixes and long-term improvements.
- Leverage AI and other toolsets to monitor production health, analyze trends and performance data, and help identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Document procedures, configurations, and support activities while building knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
