About The Position
This internship focuses on economic and business data analysis, reporting, and process improvement within the Packaging department at NY Ops. Interns will gain hands-on experience with data visualization tools, statistical software, and database query tools. The role involves analyzing operational and business data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support decision-making. Interns will also be responsible for building and maintaining performance reports and dashboards, and identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and automate data workflows.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program in Economics or Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must commit to the full duration of the internship (June 1, 2026 - August 28, 2026)
- Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Statistical software (R, Python, or Stata preferred)
- Database/query tools (SQL preferred)
