About The Position

This hands-on internship at Cobb-Vantress offers valuable exposure to a world-class organization that provides protein to the world. Interns will support meaningful, real-world projects that advance the global business, while living the company values of Family, Integrity, Innovation, and Being the Best. This role specifically supports Cobb’s global Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team, contributing to strategic marketing and communications initiatives. The company is looking for motivated, curious students with an interest in agriculture who are eager to learn across various marketing disciplines such as social media, graphic design, video and photography, digital marketing, data analytics, and performance reporting. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute fresh ideas, and gain practical experience through impactful projects and participation in local events. This opportunity is ideal for a junior or senior who is local to Northwest Arkansas or plans to reside in the area for the summer. Based on candidate interest, performance, business needs, and fit, there may be opportunities to continue during the academic year and/or be considered for future full-time roles with Cobb.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with at least one year remaining
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of learning new technologies and systems quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly
  • Professional, collaborative, and effective working with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, organized, reliable, receptive to feedback, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism, maturity, and readiness to contribute in a corporate environment
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer
  • Must live within 60 miles of the Cobb-Vantress Corporate Office in Siloam Springs, Arkansas
  • Resume required, including expected graduation date and major/area of study

Nice To Haves

  • Juniors and seniors will be considered first
  • Fields of study such as Agriculture (Science, Business, Marketing), Poultry Operations, or related disciplines are preferred
  • Prior work experience
  • Coursework, internships, or exposure related to marketing, communications, agriculture, or use of industry-standard tools
  • Microsoft Access familiarity
  • Interest in agriculture (poultry experience or curiosity is a plus)
  • Candidates planning additional education after degree completion should note this on their resume
