Summer 2027 Interns (Tax/Assurance -Students Only)
About The Position
Geffen Mesher and Company, PC (GMCO) is seeking Summer 2027 Interns for their Tax/Assurance program. This internship is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in public accounting. The program offers technical experience, mentoring, and coaching to help build a successful career path. Interns will be exposed to both tax and audit work, working on a variety of engagements to provide an accurate idea of what working as a staff accountant is like. The internship also includes additional staff training, coaching in networking and professional development, and fun summer activities. The internship typically begins in early July, with specific dates and duration to be determined.
Requirements
- Declared accounting major or intention to declare.
- Interest in learning about and pursuing a career in public accounting.
- Junior standing in college.
Responsibilities
- Gain technical experience in both tax and audit.
- Work on a variety of engagements across tax and audit.
- Participate in additional staff training.
- Receive coaching and mentoring in networking and professional development.
- Participate in summer activities.
