About The Position

The SOS Intern is designed to provide interns with exposure and learning opportunities emphasizing a focus on cementing operations. SOS Interns may be assigned to one or more functional departments including but not limited to Sales, Operations and Engineering. Essential duties include the following: Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner. Will spend time learning about Spinnaker, attending new hire safety orientation, learning/observing basic cementing equipment and field services. Time may be spent with different functional departments ranging from Operations, Engineering/Technical services, Sales or other groups. The majority of task assignments and training conducted will be in a mentored and supervised role. Must be willing to become involved in actual direct labor tasks if they are deemed necessary in the understanding of all aspects of Operations. Will be evaluated on an ongoing basis with input from the primary mentors. Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary. This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan. Equal Opportunity Employment
