About The Position

Our rapidly growing retail business is looking for additional assistance this summer in our technical support team. The successful candidate for this role will have strong customer service skill and have a willingness to learn about networking. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer issues and then offer a solution to each problem.

Requirements

  • Understanding of computers from Windows to Mac. As well as internet-based applications such as email apps and Browsers.
  • Basic understanding of networking and networking equipment.
  • Showing attention to detail and documentation.
  • Customer service skills and working with customers over the phone as well as in person.
  • Patience and a willingness to learn, this is a must.
  • Ability to work in multiple systems at the same time.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers over the phone
  • Support walk-in customers
  • Respond to voicemails, emails, and chats, which accrue after hours
  • Follow up on unresolved issues
  • Escalate or create work orders as necessary
  • Assist with internal escalations
  • Document interactions with customers.
