About The Position
Allegion is a company dedicated to safety and security, with a global presence and a focus on innovation. They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join their team. This internship offers the opportunity to deepen understanding of .NET Core and Angular, participate in software development discussions, implement solutions on real projects, and work within an Agile environment. The goal is to provide interns with foundational experience for future growth within Allegion.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering.
- Junior and Senior applicants preferred
- Understanding of basic programming techniques
- Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
- An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about software and the Allegion business practices
- Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
- A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers
Responsibilities
- Deepen your understanding of .NET Core and Angular
- Participate in software development discussions and implement solutions on real projects that will impact production
- Work within a team to produce well-rounded solutions
- Participate in an Agile environment to understand and practice key Agile principles
- Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
