About The Position
Five Rings is a proprietary trading firm that combines strategy, innovation, and technology to succeed in global markets. We trade in various domestic and international markets, constantly seeking new opportunities, analyzing risks and rewards, and creating strategies and tools to capitalize on them. We foster an open culture that encourages the flow of knowledge and ideas. Our intensive 9-week summer internship program, running from early June to early August, offers immersion in hands-on projects, classroom instruction, in-house strategy games, and mock trading. Interns will collaborate with the trading team on research and development projects, receiving mentorship from full-time traders. The program includes talks on key trading concepts and various social activities such as strategic game nights, nights out in NY, and dinners. While the internship is based in New York, international students are eligible to apply.
Requirements
- Graduating in winter of 2027 or spring/summer of 2028
- Quantitatively-focused

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the trading team on research and development projects.
- Participate in hands-on projects, classroom instruction, strategy games, and mock trading.
- Take part in talks introducing key trading concepts.
