About The Position

Join the Patient Services team for a paid summer internship focused on improving the patient’s experience and supporting programs that help patients access treatment and resources. You'll collaborate with teams across Commercial, Marketing, Channel Management, and Market Access, and while gaining exposure to how patient support programs operate within the pharmaceutical industry. This opportunity is ideal for students interested in healthcare, business, marketing, patient advocacy, data analytics or social services. This is a hybrid role in Princeton, NJ requiring 2 days on-site per week. This internship is perfect for students considering careers in healthcare administration, patient advocacy, public health, social work, marketing, or pharmaceutical operations.

Requirements

  • Rising, junior, or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Services, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
  • Interest in patient experience, healthcare operations, patient support programs, or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across functional teams.
  • Available to work for the full internship period from May 25, 2027 through August 20, 2027.
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule and commute to the Princeton, NJ office as required.
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Patient Services team with projects and day-to-day operational activities.
  • Partner with Patient Services leadership to develop communications and marketing materials.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from Patient Services and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in developing training materials, presentations, and learning resources for patient support teams.
  • Draft and update SOPs, guidelines, forms, and internal communications.
  • Conduct research on patient services and the rare disease landscape and deliver a capstone project with recommendations and insights.
