About The Position
The Apple Bank Summer Internship program is an exciting 10-week paid experience designed to provide collaborative, hands-on learning that will sharpen professional skills. The program focuses on enabling intern development through work experience, formal learning, self-knowledge, and mentorship. Interns will engage in meaningful work within their assigned department, participate in a team project focused on a real business concern, and benefit from individual development opportunities, coaching, and mentoring. The program includes an in-person first week in NYC for onboarding, training, and team building, followed by a hybrid working model (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a related Bachelor’s degree program as a rising Senior.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Experience using MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Currently authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions.
- Ability to work both independently as well as on a team.
- Organizational skills, a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and leadership potential.
- Ability to prepare deliverables for meetings while exhibiting professionalism, maturity, and insight throughout interactions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Innovative and creative problem-solving ability.
- Intellectual curiosity, cooperation, and focus in achieving group and client objectives.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive work experience is not a requirement.
- Dedication to learning and a true passion for the banking industry are vital.
Responsibilities
- Participate in onboarding, training, and team building activities during the first week.
- Work in a hybrid model: 4 days a week in the office and 1 day a week remote/virtual.
- Engage in meaningful work within the assigned department under the guidance of dedicated leaders.
- Contribute to a team project focused on a real business concern, culminating in a presentation to Senior Leadership.
