Summer Intern - Legal Department
About The Position
The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking interns for its Legal department for a 12-week summer program in 2027. This internship offers students the opportunity to work with various teams within the Legal department, contributing to meaningful projects and gaining real-world skills in financial services. Interns will engage in ad hoc projects, legal research, analysis, writing, and presentation development, supporting legal processes and providing advice to OCC stakeholders. The program is designed for actively enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, working up to 40 hours per week in a hybrid environment. Overtime is not permitted.
Requirements
- Law Student (graduate school) - rising 3rd year or rising 2nd year
- Completion of one or two years of Law School
- Undergraduate BA or BS
Responsibilities
- Ad hoc projects for Legal department attorneys to support Legal processes and/or provision of legal advice to OCC stakeholders
- Legal research, analysis, and writing
- Development of presentations for Legal department collaboration and education
