About The Position

Ultragenyx is seeking a highly motivated summer intern to support the GTX-102 Launch Excellence and Commercial Operations team. This internship will provide direct exposure to the strategic, operational, and cross-functional workstreams that support rare disease launch preparation. The intern will partner closely with the GTX-102 Launch Lead and collaborate across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, Patient Advocacy, Commercial Operations, and Program Management. This role is designed to provide both a meaningful developmental experience for the intern and operational support for the organization through strategic project work and launch planning activities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, MPH, or related advanced degree
  • Strong interest in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare strategy, or commercial operations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards, reporting, or analytics tools
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and strong collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Support GTX-102 launch readiness activities, including tracking key milestones, workstreams, and operational deliverables
  • Develop dashboards, trackers, executive summaries, and strategic materials to support cross-functional launch planning
  • Assess competitive intelligence, market landscape, and rare disease insights to support strategic discussions and decision-making
  • Support cross-functional coordination across Commercial, Medical, Analytics, Market Access, and Advocacy teams
  • Deliver a capstone internship project and final presentation highlighting key insights and recommendations
