About The Position

The Summer Intern in Insurance will serve in the 4 primary quadrants of Insurance Experience, working on projects for Sales and Relationship Management, Business Operations including Underwriting, Strategy and new Product Development, and Customer Service.

Requirements

Must be an incoming Junior or Senior level.
Must be a current student throughout the duration of the intern program.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Self-starter with initiative and integrity.
Proficient PC skills.
Strong ability to multi-task.
Detail oriented.
Strong work ethic.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Degree concentration in Business and Mathematics preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with a variety of projects and tasks for strategy, marketing, sales, relationship management, customer service, and research projects for the insurance line of business.
Engage in outreach, research, creation, and refining of business plans, distribution strategies and financial models.
Participate in the development of market engagement strategies.
Assist in the coordination of ongoing organizational development efforts.
Clean up and interpret data.
Work on process improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
