Position Overview: Summer Intern - Installation Tech We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Summer Intern - Installation Tech in our Overhead Door division. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience while working alongside experienced technicians on job sites. Interns will be exposed to a variety of systems and projects, including: Sectional overhead doors Rolling steel doors High-speed doors Sliding doors and operable partitions Dock levelers and gate operators This internship is ideal for individuals interested in construction management, project management, mechanical work, construction trades, and learning how job sites operate day-to-day. Even if you don't have prior experience, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. Requirements

Interest in construction, mechanical, or electrical trades
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Comfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Ability to perform physical tasks and work at heights (with training)
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

Responsibilities

Assist technicians with installation, service, and maintenance of commercial door and dock systems
Learn basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques
Support job site setup, material handling, and cleanup
Help load, unload, and organize tools and materials
Observe and learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Follow all OSHA and job site safety requirements
Gain experience operating equipment (as appropriate and supervised)
Represent Lensing professionally while working with team members and customers
