Summer Intern, Finance (SDS - A Universal & Warner Bros. Joint Venture)
About The Position
Studio Distribution Services (SDS) is a joint venture between Warner Bros. and Universal Pictures. We are the leading distributor for the entertainment industry, responsible for the Sales, Retail Marketing and Supply Chain of home entertainment products for both studios. We manage sales and distribution of new release and library content of both film and television for a wide range of famous labels, including Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Legendary Entertainment, Focus Features, HBO, DreamWorks Animation and Illumination Entertainment. This position will be immersed into all areas of the FP&A team to include P&L planning and forecasting, Home Entertainment Film estimates, Supply Chain Finance and SDS Partner relationships. This internship will also include ownership of an independent, business‑focused project involving analysis and proven problem solving, with results to be presented at the conclusion of the program.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance
- Basic knowledge in finance / accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly summarize and communicate findings
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting ideas and concepts to varying senior levels
- Experience in cultivating relationships both internally and externally

Responsibilities
- Develop forecast accuracy scorecard with dashboard and relevant KPIs
- Support 2026 Budget preparation
- Assist with various ad hoc projects as needed
- With guidance from the team, explore and apply AI tools relevant to the role, integrating AI to enhance efficiency and reimagine the way we work.
