About The Position
As an Engineering intern, you will report to the APX Fleet Design Senior Manager and be located at our Cranberry, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, civil or nuclear engineering
- Completed Sophomore year of college
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for assigned work performed as part of the AP1000 fleet design
- Perform modeling and analysis using a variety of engineering tools and methods. Develop documentation related to these calculations and analyses
- Work with departmental teams (i.e. system and component design, structural, electrical, supply chain) to solve challenging technical problems
- Work with technical leads and project managers in coordination of activities associated with assigned work scope
- Work with global project teams by contributing to technical scope execution and meeting schedule and financial goals
